Getting around

Finding your way to Maravu

Savusavu is on Vanua Levu, Fiji's second-largest island. Most people fly in through Nadi and take a short domestic flight north.

Flying in

  • International: land at Nadi (NAN) on Viti Levu.
  • Domestic: Fiji Link flies Nadi (and Suva) to Savusavu (SVU). If your tickets are separate, collect your bags, clear customs, walk to Domestic and check in again. Allow at least 2–3 hours, and note that domestic bag limits are smaller. verify
  • Savusavu airport is small, about 3 km from town along the Hibiscus Highway. verify
  • We will arrange pickup at the airport for you.

Once you're here

  • From the airport or town to the house: [Jeff to provide: directions and drive time]
  • Getting around: taxis, a dedicated driver, or a rental car from town. Tell us your plans and we can help arrange transport.
  • Town errands: banks, ATMs, phone top-ups, the market and supermarkets are all on or near Main Street.
